COST

There are many ways to calculate the cost of a project. One common method is called 'Square Foot Cost'. This simply put, mans the last job I did cost $85.00 per square foot, so this job will be $85.00 per foot. This is notoriously inaccurate. Each job needs to be priced individually. At Birchwood Construction, all estimates are done individually, using 'MicroSoft Excel' spreadsheet software. This allows for the most accurate estimate possible, by including all aspects in the project, the guess work is eliminated. Jobs can be priced without guessing at cost and going heavy to insure profit. Each estimate is carefully charted to keep costs fair and reasonable. Birchwood Construction takes pride in providing estimates that are fair, timely and accurate. We believe in providing the client with the real picture without hidden costs or over priced extras. TIME

Everyone is concerned about it! How long will the project take? During what hours will the workmen be at the site? How long will my family be inconvenienced? We believe in answering these questions before the project begins. By including time estimates with every project, you will have firm starting and completion dates. Daily and weekly schedules are discussed with you in mind. Often arranged to suit to your needs, as will as contractors' on the job. For instance, if your kitchen sink was to be repaired, we would give you a firm time frame of when to expect it to be operational again. This takes the guesswork out of planning for meals and other considerations. Our time lines are carefully prepared and updated when necessary. This allows you the most freedom in the inconvenience of home remodeling.
